In literary terms, a vignette is a short, descriptive passage that captures a moment in time. It can enhance a mood, develop a character, or describe a setting. These vignettes of life describe nostalgic episodes from my parents’ lives from their earlier years as their family grew and as they built their own house with their own hands.
